আমরা সবাই জানি যে English বিষয়টি Board Exams বা Competitive Exams বা প্রতিযোগিতা মূলক পরীক্ষার জন্য খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
আজ আমরা English Grammar বা ইংরেজি ব্যাকরণের Voice Change এর নিয়ম গুলি খুব সহজ উপায়ে আলোচনা করবো। (Voice Change in Bengali)
বাংলাতে Voice Chane কে বলা হয় বাচ্য পরিবর্তন।
আশা করি Voice Change এর এই নিয়ম গুলি জানার পর Voice Change সম্পর্কিত সব প্রশ্নের সমাধান খুব সহজেই করতে পারবেন।

◼ Voice কাকে বলে ?
Voice: Voice is the form of the verb which shows whether the subject acts or is acted upon.
অর্থাৎ
ক্রিয়াপদের প্রকাশভঙ্গির যে বৈচিত্র্যের কারণে বাক্যে কখনও কর্তার, কখনও কর্মের আবার কখনও ক্রিয়ার ভাবটির প্রাধান্য হয়, তাকে বাচ্য বলে। তার মানে, বাচ্য হল ক্রিয়াপদের বিভিন্ন প্রকাশভঙ্গি।
◼ Voice প্রকারভেদ :
There are mainly two voices in English.
1. Active Voice (কর্তৃবাচ্য)
2. Passive Voice (কর্মবাচ্য)
Active Voice (কর্তৃবাচ্য):
When the subject of the sentence is the actor, the verb is called Active Voice বা কর্তৃবাচ্য।
অর্থাৎ
যে বাচ্যে বাক্যের কর্তা প্রাধান্য পায় এবং কর্তা অনুগামী ক্রিয়াপদ হয় সেই বাচ্যকে কর্তৃবাচ্য বলে ।
যেমন - সোনা গান গায়।
Passive Voice (কর্মবাচ্য):
When the subject of the verb is acted upon, the verb is called Passive Voice বা কর্মবাচ্য।
অর্থাৎ
যে বাচ্যে কর্মপদটি কর্তৃপদে পরিণত হয়ে বাচ্যে প্রাধান্য পায় এবং ক্রিয়া, কর্মের অনুগামী হয় তাকে কর্মবাচ্য বলে।
যেমন - সোনার দ্বারা গানটা গাওয়া হল।
Voice Change(বাচ্য পরিবর্তন):
বাক্যের অর্থ অপরিবর্তিত রেখে এক বাচ্যের বাক্যকে অন্য বাচ্যে রূপান্তরিত করাকে বাচ্য পরিবর্তন বা ভয়েস চেঞ্জ বলে।
Voice Change এর সহজ নিয়ম
Active Voice থেকে Passive Voice করিবার নিয়ম:
1. Active এর কর্ম Passive এর কর্তা হবে।
2. পরিবর্তিত Verb (ক্রিয়া ) বসবে।
3. Verb এর Third Form বসবে।
4. by বা with দ্বারা যুক্ত হয়ে Active এর কর্তার কর্ম রূপ বসবে।

Examples:
Active: Raju reads a book.
Passive: A book is read by Raju.
Active: He did the job.
Passive: The job was done by him.
Active: Children like sweets.
Passive: Sweets are liked by children.
Active: I shall do it.
Passive: It will be done by me.
Active: He is flying a kite.
Passive: A kite is being flown by him.
◼মনে রাখার বিষয় :
কোনো sentence এ যদি কর্তা না থাকে অর্থাৎ Imperative Sentence হয় সেক্ষেত্রে Voice Change এর নিয়ম :
Active থেকে Passive করার সময়
1. Passive Voice এর গোড়ায় Let বসবে
2. Active Voice এর object বসবে
3. be বসবে
4. Active Voice এর Verb এর Third Form বসবে
যেমন :
1. Active: Shut the window.
Passive: Let the window be shut.
2. Active: Do it.
Passive: Let it be done.
◼আবার কিছু কিছু ক্ষেত্রে Sentence এর অর্থ অনুযায়ী Voice Change করতে হয় :
যেমন :
Active: Pray to God.
Passive; You are advised to pray to God.
Active: Open the door.
Passive: You are ordered to open the door.
